A Note on California Redemption Value
California Redemption Value, or CRV, is a deposit that bottlers pay for some recyclable beverage containers in the state of California. Consumers benefit from bringing in these containers by receiving five cents for containers that are smaller than 24 ounces, and 10 cents for those that exceed 24 ounces.
